Tunneling Airtime over ssh
The best way is to reconfigure airtime to run on port 8080, I have done this. 1. Change base_port = 80 to base_port = 8080 in /etc/airtime/api_client.cfg and /etc/airtime/airtime.conf.2. Change /etc/apache2/site-enabled/airtime-vhost.conf to *:80803…

Spring Update on Airtime Development
Can we expect a release within the next couple of weeks? We are running a two week FM station at the start of next month - it would be great to use the new features?

I've not really got a huge amount of documentation written down but the project but I have used it personally at a couple of stations and others have given me good feedback. It's web based (Node.JS) and runs in a full screen browser on th…

Record/Rebroadcast Randomly not working
I have found that when you edit a show that already has the record flag set - it is forgotten upon saving. If I changed a show's name or the time for example, it no longer allows me to record the program. I have to delete it and re-add.

Hi Chris, I am a former student radio station manager, so know exactly where your at! I took over what also could be described as a sinking ship. Fortunately - with a bit of help you should be able to get it afloat. Quote:We operate …

Backup Airtime Server
I had been looking at Warm Standby too - hopefully that should work. I was planning on pointing both servers at a common mount on a redundant file server so they would both see the same files. The only thing that wouldn't work - as far…

Thanks for the response Paul. I am a programmer, not specifically a Python developer, but it should be fairly easy enough to pick up. I have been looking at the source and config files and it seems fairly do-able like you say. Fro…
